Have you ever wanted to wear a human-sized version of your cat’s face? Well thanks to a company in Japan, you can do just that if you have a few thousand dollars to spend.
As shared by Kotaku, “My Family” is offering to recreate your feline’s face into a hyper-realistic mask, complete with fur. The result could be described as nightmare fuel.
This monstrosity costs almost $3,000 and is only available in Japan. Shindo Rinka uses a photo of your cat that you send to the company as a reference. A sculptor then crafts the mask, adding the fur that matches your cat’s color and markings.
This reminds me of the ’80s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon when they wore those horrific human masks. THEY ACTUALLY FOOLED PEOPLE INTO THINKING THEY WERE HUMAN!
If you’re looking for a real cat to adopt and hopefully not scar for life with a mask of their face, check out our Adopt a Pet section.
