Michigan Humane and Michigan State Police discovered 200 roosters in a River Rouge home on Wednesday, part of a current investigation into an alleged cockfighting ring.

Investigators are currently at a home on Oak Street. It has not been confirmed if anyone was inside the house.

Last month Michigan Humane and Detroit police served a warrant at a home in Southwest Detroit, recovering 80 birds that were part of a suspected cockfighting breeding and training center.

This is a developing story.
