What would have been a typical boring court hearing in West Texas is now internet gold thanks to a Zoom cat filter.
As NBC reports, a virtual civil forfeiture hearing saw Presidio County Attorney Rod Ponton in his final form: a fluffy white cat. Ponton’s Zoom settings had an active cat filter turned on and the poor guy couldn’t figure out how to turn it off, even with 394th Judicial District Court Judge Roy Ferguson’s help.
“I’m prepared to go forward with it. I’m here live, I’m not a cat,” Ponton declared.
