Michigan Humane strongly believes that no one should have to choose between feeding themselves or feeding their pets during economic hardships. Since the onset of the crisis in March, the MICHIGAN HUMANE Judith Caplan Phillips Pet Pantry distributed 450,000 lb. of pet food to 9,000 families and more than 550,000 lb. year-to-date. By comparison, in 2019 we distributed 411,000 lb. in 365 days.
At the current rate, we are projecting to distribute 1 million lb. of pet food by year-end. Your support keeps families together at a time when they need us most.
