Wii™ You be a Homeless Pet's Valentine?
Michigan Humane Society Nintendo® Wii™and Wii Fit™ raffle to help homeless animals; drawing will take place during MHS’ Valentine’s Telethon on February 12
If you’re looking for a Valentine’s Day gift that will tell your sweetie just how much you care, why not choose a gift that could not only provide an opportunity for more quality time together, but will also help homeless animals find their own “special someone” to love? The Michigan Humane Society is holding a raffle for a Nintendo® Wii™ and Wii Fit™, the coveted video game system that’s nearly impossible to get. Tickets are $10 each, or three for $25, with 100% of the proceeds to help the Michigan Humane Society care for homeless animals while they await loving homes.
The winning ticket will be drawn in the seven o’clock p.m. hour of the MHS Valentine’s Telethon on Thursday, February 12.
All tickets must be purchased by 11:00pm EST on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 in order to be eligible for the drawing.
Once tickets are purchased, you are automatically entered into the drawing. While ticket stubs will be sent to you, they are not required to be entered in the drawing.
Please be advised that the purchase of raffle tickets is not a tax-deductible contribution, however all (100%) of the proceeds benefit MHS. This drawing is licensed by the State of Michigan Charitable Gaming Division license #X70946 issued to the Michigan Humane Society (Organization #111067, 30300 Telegraph Rd. Ste. 220, Bingham Farms, MI 48025).
Eligibility requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older to purchase tickets
- Only one person can be named on each sold ticket
- Tickets can be bought by anyone over age 18 and given as a gift to someone under the age of 18, but minors are unable to purchase tickets
Official Rules:
- Must be 18 or older to participate
- Winner need not be present to win
- If an entrant’s payment is dishonored by the bank, the ticket(s) will be invalid unless full payment is received for ticket amount and any and all NSF charges incurred by MHS
- MHS assumes no liability for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, illegible, undelivered entries or entries received without proper payment received, which entries shall be deemed invalid and shall be immediately disqualified
- Winner will receive a new Nintendo® Wii™ and WiiFit™
- The winner is responsible for all applicable taxes or any other fees
- Winner will be announced during the telethon by random drawing, and will be notified by phone by February 15, 2009
- Winner will be posted on http://www.michiganhumane.org/ website no later than February 19, 2009
- All proceeds less expenses benefit the Michigan Humane Society, a 501(c) 3 nonprofit
- Purchaser of ticket must legibly write their name and complete all information on each ticket
- A maximum of 2,500 tickets will be sold
- All valid entries must be received by February 10, 2009
- Tickets reserved by phone will have a hard ticket filled out by a representative of MHS and entered into the drawing with the purchaser’s name and other required information
