MHS Matching Gift Program
Have Your Employer Match Your Donation
Are you interested in increasing the impact of your gift to the Michigan Humane Society? A growing number of companies and corporations match charitable gifts made by their employees to non-profit organizations like the Michigan Humane Society. You may qualify if you or your spouse are currently employed by a company that has a matching gift program. In many cases, retirees and directors of these companies are also eligible.
Some companies match gifts of cash, gifts of stock and in-kind gifts on a dollar-for-dollar basis, while others match at ratios as high as four-to-one. In any case, the value of your gift will be greatly magnified. Contact your human resources department to find out if your employer will match your contributions to the Michigan Humane Society.
