MHS adoption counselors are on-site Saturdays and Sundays, but cat adoptions can take place any time during regular PetSmart store hours, seven days a week. The adoption process mirrors that at MHS’ three adoption centers. MHS cat adoptions from PetSmart include sterilization, age-appropriate vaccinations, a feline leukemia test, a behavioral test, medical exam, and the MHS Adopter Support Program.
