PROTECT-A-PET Low-Cost Pet Vaccination Clinics
The Michigan Humane Society 2013 Protect-A-Pet clinics offer low-cost, age-appropriate vaccinations against Distemper, Parvovirus, Rabies and other deadly diseases as well as low-cost microchipping for dogs and cats of pet owners. In addition, low-cost spay/neuter information will be available at all clinics.
Pets must be healthy, not pregnant, older than 6 weeks of age, and must have no previous vaccine reactions (including vomiting, fainting, swelling and/or hives). There will be no income verification required.

Pet Licenses
License vouchers redeemable at Detroit Animal Control will be available at all clinics. Detroit residents only.
- License for unspayed or unneutered pet: $10
- License for spayed or neutered pet: $5
Pet Microchips
Payment will be accepted in the form of cash only. Services will be limited to 1000 animals at each clinic on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be NO income verification required. All clinics are held from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
