Who's in the Doghouse?
A fun and interactive way to help animals in need!

At this time, nine prominent community leaders are stuck in the Michigan Humane Society “Doghouse.” But with your support, they can be bailed out!

Here’s how you can help:

  • Please select a doghouse volunteer that you’d like to support. Perhaps you know this individual already and appreciate the work they do in the community, or maybe you’d like to support the MHS program they’re representing.
  • Each volunteer is responsible for raising $5,000 in order to get bailed out of the doghouse. Your online donation will count towards their goal - once they’ve reached it, they’re bailed out!
  • While on average it costs MHS $156 to transform the life of an animal in need, any amount you are able to give will help tremendously. Though the competition is light-hearted, the reality is that all funds raised will ultimately help MHS continue to touch the lives of more than 100,000 animals each year in our communities.

Who's in the Doghouse? is taking place as part of the Michigan Humane Society’s 22nd annual Bow Wow Brunch, being held at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 10 at The Dearborn Inn. The volunteer who raises the most funds by the end of the event will be named “Top Dog”!
