UPDATE: Happy Ending for Pipe Puppy Nelson Makes Full Recovery, Finds Loving Home
After becoming trapped in an underground pipe in February, and a day-long rescue effort to free the tiny, unweaned puppy, Nelson emerged from the pipe to clapping and shouts of joy!
Though he was cold, hungry and a bit frightened, the 4-week-old puggle/dachshund made a full recovery in an MHS foster home.
We’re excited to share that Nelson, as well as his sister, Winnie, recently found loving homes at the MHS Bow Wow Brunch.
The more than 600,000 people who viewed the video of his amazing rescue may be surprised to see how different he looks today!
Your support allows MHS to make life-saving rescues possible 365 days a year!
Thank you for all you do.
