Michigan Humane Society Selected as Finalist
Based on its 2009 efforts to “Keep Families Together” during difficult economic times, MHS was a finalist in the Best Managed Nonprofit Contest sponsored by Crain’s Detroit Business. This year’s contest recognized nonprofit organizations who have taken specific steps to improve operations and delivery of services in a slow economy.
MHS is grateful for this recognition by Crain’s Detroit Business, which serves as further indication that your support is being used efficiently and successfully in fulfilling the organization’s mission. We recognize that it is only through the generosity of our donors that we are able to serve the needs of the animals and people in our community, and continue to work towards our ultimate goal of bringing an end to companion animal homelessness.
