Keep Your Cat Safe From the Great Outdoors

Spring is here and everyone is anxious to get outside and enjoy the wonderful weather - including the family cat.  With birds out and about, warmer temperatures and lots of terrific smells, the outdoors can be very appealing.  Turning kitties loose to fend for themselves is never a good idea.  Cat fights, cars, coyotes, dogs, disease and even people can all pose dangers to your cat.  Luckily, kitties can be trained to use special cat leashes and there are kitty play yards designed to allow cats to explore the outdoors in a safe, contained area.   It is a great idea to let curious cats explore the outdoors and it is a better idea to be responsible about keeping them safe while doing it.
