Matching Gift Program

A growing number of companies and corporations match charitable gifts made by their employees to non-profit organizations like the Michigan Humane Society. You may qualify if you or your spouse are currently employed by a company that has a matching gift program. In many cases, retirees and directors of these companies are also eligible.

Some companies match gifts of cash, gifts of stock and in-kind gifts on a dollar-for-dollar basis, while others match at ratios as high as four-to-one. In any case, the value of your gift will be greatly magnified.
